In today’s society it is becoming more and more important to live in a energy efficient home. With a specially designed lighting system, your client will have the ability to save energy and money by varying the level of light output. An automated
system also means that you can ensure all sources are switched off when you leave, saving even more energy.

If you have any upcoming projects in which you may wish to include an automated system, then please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to advise on any project and look forward to viewing your plans.

The Project Process
Firstly, working from a set of your layout and design plans, Voltek Solutions can provide an initial budgetary quotation for your project. We will also invite you and your client to view one of our installations, giving you an excellent idea of what can be achieved in an automated home. Working together with both client and architect, we can design a system to suit a range of project requirements. Once a specification has been agreed, Install Automation will deliver a pre-installation instruction guide and detailed cable diagram to your electrical contractor for initial infastructure cabling.

At the second stage of the development our experienced installation technicians will arrive on site to oversee termination of cables, if required, and prepare the infastructure for installation of the system. All interim work, including system programming and hardware assembly, is carried out in our newly refurbished development centre in Birmingham. Components are then shipped to site pre-built, completing the installation.

To finalise the project our team will spend time with the client and provide a step-by-step guide on how to operate the system. This will be backed up with appropriate paperwork for each component and we will also include a detailed operation manual, explaining exactly how the system performs. Throughout the design and installation processes our company aims to provide both client and architect with practical information and advice. This service extends beyond the installation and our after sales service team will be on hand to resolve any problems with our systems and answer any questions you may have.

Maintenance contracts are available to purchase, guaranteeing hardware past the standard manufacturer’s warranty, and also giving your end user the option to make changes to the system, should their requirements change over time.
